The Simple Question That Can Make or Break a Startup

In our Sage Accelerator sessions, we evaluate promising ideas from young companies. If the question isn't answered in the deck (it should be), one of our first criteria is, "What evidence of demand do you have?" We recognize that the people in the room may not be the target market - so proving market interest is very important. We coached one young entrepreneur to cost-effectively launch his MVP to simply prove that customers will use his innovative service.
